1. Who is responsible

The data controller for this website, within the meaning of Article 4(7) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), is:

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer, and we have not appointed one. Data protection enquiries go to the address above and are handled by the responsible editor.

2. What we collect when you read this site

Nothing that identifies you, and nothing at all that we store or analyse. Specifically, this website:

• sets no cookies of any kind — not necessary ones, not functional ones, not analytics, not advertising;
• uses no localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB;
• contains no analytics — no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no server-side analytics product, nothing;
• contains no advertising or conversion pixels — no Meta pixel, no Microsoft UET tag, no Google Ads tag;
• performs no fingerprinting — we do not read your fonts, canvas, screen characteristics or hardware to build an identifier;
• loads nothing from third parties. No web fonts, no CDN, no remote images, no embedded videos, no social widgets, no consent management platform. Every file the page needs is served from this domain.

3. Server logs

Like any website, this one is delivered by a web server, and the server records the requests it serves. Such a record can include your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the HTTP status returned, the referring page and your browser’s user agent string.

This processing is necessary for the technical operation and security of the service. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in operating a functioning and secure website and in detecting and dealing with abuse. Server logs are not used for analytics, profiling, advertising, measurement or any commercial purpose, they are not combined with any other data, and they are not shared with advertisers or analytics providers. They are retained only as long as needed for security and diagnostics and are then deleted or rotated out in the ordinary course.

4. If you email us

If you write to info@borislavik.online, we necessarily receive and hold your email address, whatever you put in the message, and the message metadata. We use it for one purpose only: to answer you.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest, and yours, in being able to reply to correspondence; or Article 6(1)(c) where the message concerns a legal request such as a data subject right or a notice of unlawful content, which we are obliged to handle.

We keep correspondence only as long as the matter requires and no longer than is necessary for any related legal obligation, and we do not add your address to any mailing list, because we do not have one.

5. Where your data goes

Nowhere. We do not sell, rent or share personal data. We have no advertising partners receiving data from this site, no analytics processors, and no third-party scripts that could receive anything. The only processor involved in the operation of the site is the provider that hosts the server, acting under Article 28 GDPR, and the provider that operates our email.

We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area for the purpose of operating this website. If you email us and your own email provider is located outside the EEA, that transfer is one your provider makes, not one we make.

6. Automated decision-making

There is none. We do not profile visitors and we make no automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.

7. When you leave this site

Some links on this site are partner links to an advertiser. When you follow one, you leave borislavik.online and arrive at a site operated by someone else. From that moment their privacy policy applies, not ours, and they may set cookies and collect data in ways we neither control nor see. A partner link may carry a campaign identifier in the URL so that the advertiser can attribute the visit; that identifier is passed through from the URL you arrived on and is not stored by us. We send a strict-origin-when-cross-origin referrer policy, which means an external site is told that you came from https://borislavik.online but not which page you were reading.

8. Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to have processing restricted, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to receive data you provided in a portable form. Where processing is based on consent you may withdraw it at any time — although, since we ask for no consent and set no cookies, there is in practice no consent to withdraw.

To exercise any right, write to info@borislavik.online. We answer within one month, as Article 12(3) requires. In practice, the only personal data we are likely to hold about you is an email you sent us.

9. Complaints

If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you may complain to a supervisory authority. Ours is the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection:

10. Children

This site is written for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, of any age.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here and the date at the top of the page changes with it. Because we collect nothing, any change is likely to concern wording rather than practice; if that ever ceased to be true, we would say so plainly at the top of the page.
